Fulgentia, permanent exhibition of religious art

The Fulgentia Art Collection is a permanent exhibition of religious art transferred from the 16 parishes that make up the Diocese of Anoia-Segarra. It consists of 71 pieces of gold and silversmith work and objects of worship which over time have come to be considered real works of art. It was officially opened in August 2008 and is housed in two spaces.

The goal of transferring the most valuable objects of the 16 parishes to the Fulgentia permanent exhibition was to ensure, on the one hand, greater security and peace of mind, since the items are now displayed in an environment that is both secure and optimal for their preservation, and on the other hand greater dissemination, since they can all now be admired under the same roof at the Basilica de Santa Maria d’Igualada.

Guided group tours must be arranged and booked in advance on 933800040.
